hardcore seaweed invasion…

On my last morning in Mollymook a wide section of the beach was coated in a huge long strip of interesting looking seaweed, despite there being no storm overnight. It was the part where the lifeguards set up, so I wonder where everyone swam safely that day? Maybe beach closed…

Bruny Island seals… smelly!

At the end of a fairly gruelling ‘cruise’ along the cliffs of Bruny Island we arrived where the seals live which made it all worthwhile. Majestic, bizarre and most curiously scented 🙂

Extraordinary deep green sea of Bruny Island against storm clouds. The oysters were the most amazing you’ll find anywhere.

Windeward Bound…

And so we were Windeward Bound. Motored out from Hobart for ages then, once the sails were adequately set by a courageous young gent, the wind took us home. Marvellous.
